Mercer on Mission

Crossing Cultures.  Changing Lives.

In 2007 Mercer University launched an international service-learning program called Mercer On Mission.  MOM is a five-week summer program that begins in a Mercer classroom with students taking two three-hour courses and concludes with students scattered around the world for three weeks, engaging in life-changing service projects.  The twofold purpose of Mercer On Mission is: to provide a transformative experience for Mercer students through focused learning and meaningful service and to make an important and lasting difference for people living in the Majority World.

Inspired by the command to love our neighbor as ourselves, Mercer University's deep commitment to serving others is reflected in the MOM Free Travel Voucher, which allows students to travel for free.
